Slumdog Millionaire has won lots of award and it really deserves an Oscar too. According to Bloomberg, Slumdog Millionaire has 90% chance to win an Oscar award. Slumdog Millionaire has been nominated for 13 categories. We will have to wait for another 2 days to know the result. The entire cast of this movie is expected to be at the Academy awards function. If the film wins the best picture Oscar, all nine of the youthful performers are expected to join producer Christian Colson on the stage of the Kodak Theatre.

If the Slumdog millionaire wins the best picture oscar or Danny Boyle(England) wins the best director oscar, will it benefit our country, India? The film maker Mahesh Bhatt once commented Slumdog Millionaire is not an Indian movie. It is purely an overseas movie based on an Indian theme. Now my doubt is “Slumdog millionaire wins or doesn’t win makes any difference to us?”
