by on November 1, 2009

Today, I visited Vishwa Shanti Ashram. This ashram is located in the outskirts of Bangalore, 17 kms, Tumkur highway (NH 4) near Nelamangala town. The main landmark is it is just opposite to the Tumkur Check post and just after Holiday Palm hotel. It is working from 8 am to 12.30 pm in the morning and 4 pm to 7.30 pm in the evening. The place has a steady flow of visitors. The place is very serene and beautiful. The atmosphere is very quite and calm.

Vishwa Shanti Ashram is run by a Trust. The founder of this ashram is Sadguru Sant Kesavadas and Co-founder is Guru Mataji, successor to the Sadguru Sant Kesavadas.

The Ashram is placed in 15 acres of land which houses many temples inside. Important ones are

A huge statue of Vijaya Vittala

Ashram provides enough space for the family to spend their weekends without much trouble. It accommodates rabbits, turkey, pigeon, rabbits and some other birds which i don’t know the names and more over it provides ample space for the lovebirds to pass their time also. It is a must visit place if you are coming to Bangalore.
