If you are traveling to Maldives as a tourist, you can obtain the visa on arrival. You will need to check for the following before you travel. You can obtain a visa for 30 days or if you want to stay for more days, you can get a tourist visa for a maximum period of 90 days
- Accommodation at Maldives or the details of the Hotel Reservation
- Return ticket from Maldives
- Sufficient fund to stay in Maldives for the days you need to stay
Before you travel, make sure that you do not carry, Ammunition, Animals and Alcohol, its banned here in Maldives. There are a good number of resorts in Maldives which provide excellent accommodation and vacation
If you are visiting your relatives who are working in Maldives, then you can ask them to get a sponsorship letter submitted to the Maldives Immigration at least 2 hours before the arrival of your flight.
