Translate your web pages and get Google Indexed

by Kishore on October 9, 2008

image I have written a Wordpress Plugin for Translation which has the advantage of translation pages in 20 languages and you get Google to index these pages. I have tested this on this blog. I had installed this plugin 2 days back and today I was checking if Google had indexed those translation pages.

Yes Google has indexed the translation pages and for this, you need to provide link to the translation page. You can do this using this plugin.

What I have seen that most of the blogs use Google Translate and the user is redirected to Google Translate domain and the user gets the translated page.

image Other interesting thing I have noticed is that even the Google Adsense ads and displayed in the translated languages (not all). This page which is a Hindi Translation page displays some Google Adsense in Hindi.

What I am trying to do is to automatically create static pages for the translated pages, so that everytime we do not need to send the text for translation to Google.
