I have been blogging for some time now and my problem was that I have more than one blog on different topics. I had few issues which I am sure many of you are also concerned of, like

1. Moderating Comments
2. Logging to different Admin Panels to do posts
3. Linking to related posts on other blogs (Your Own)
4. Cross Posting
5. Reading Posts
6. Moderating Posts
7. Writing Posts, Editing Posts
8. Scheduled Posting, Draft Posting

I thought of writing a plugin to moderate comments at the fastest possible way and started this plugin. Further I added up all the needful features to this plugin

Installation

After Downloading the plugin, its like a regular plugin, you need to unzip it and upload to your plugins directory (plugin folder name is kish-multi). Once you upload it, make sure that you chmod the folder, upload, which is inside the folder uploadify to 0777. Its very important or you will get error when you upload images when you write posts. You may have to check the folder position after upgrades too.

Using the Plugin

Adding your blogs

Once you activate the plugin, you need to add the sites that you want to manage using this plugin. Go to link “Kish Multi Wp” under the settings, you will find the option to add new sites. You are required to add the URL of the blog, username with admin rights and the password. Before you add a site, please make sure that you have enabled the Remote publishing option which you can find inside the Writing settings in your WordPress Admin Panel.

Once you add a site, you will get all the required information like the Latest posts, latest comments, Tags, etc

You can add as many sites you work on using this method, I have tested upto 12 sites. Interesting point is that you need to install this plugin only to the blog that you will be using to connect other blogs and not to all the blogs that you want to connect

When you go to the home page, you will get all the pending comments on the left side of all the connected blogs and latest 3 posts from all the connected blogs. You can moderate the comments, reply to the comments and I have a very special feature, where you can reply to comments via email.

Reply Via Email can be useful, if you would like to contact the author of the comment and send a personal message and do not want that reply to appear on your blog. I very often needed this, so thought of adding it up.

Reading Blog Posts

You can view and read posts from all the connected blogs, without even reloading a page. Advantage is that you will not do the mistake of clicking on your blog ads (Google Adsense) etc.

You can edit your blog posts if you find any mistakes on the fly (AJAX used). You can edit, tags, category, title, body, almost everything that you may need to.

Writing a new Post

Its almost like using your WordPress Editor.

You can upload images, TinyMCE Editor, HTML Editor, Tags, Category, Post Date for Scheduled posts, All in One SEO plugin Support, Tags help, etc

You can get related posts from all the connected posts, by just typing the title. You can also use the tag box to search for posts using keywords, just type the keyword and more to the next field, you will find related posts fetched without page reload.

Cross Posting

If you want to post a snippet of a post to another connected blog, you can very well do that too
