As I mentioned on my earlier post, Geocities has closed down, and a good news for Geocities lovers, Reocities is backing up all the files from Geocities. There are tons of great information stored in Geocities files, 1,760,000 links coming to geocities (Check the image below as per Google). Reocities feel that its not a bad idea to keep these treasures for future access. They are still in the process of back up all the files and if you have Geocities site and would like to still use it, you will have follow some steps

According to Reocities
In the millions of pages that we’ve archived, there are plenty of treasures. To make the point I’ll link to one page of a person that died way too young and whose lasting contribution to the internet and all our future lives would have been lost without saving it somehow. *That* is why we did this.
Not all of the pages here, or the story behind them are as moving as this one, but all of them together represent a wealth whose value will only become more apparent over time, and which we hope will remain with us forever in some way.
Its impressive that someone has come forward to keep these data live and people can use it in future
