Filtering Unread Messages in Gmail

by Kishore on April 11, 2009

How to filter all unread messages in Gmail. Its very simple, just type label:unread in the search box and hit the enter button. I thought of creating a label called Unread, so that I can  click on the label and get all the unread messages rather than typing the label in the search box, but it’s not possible. You will get an error message saying that you cannot create a label called unread as its reserved for the system.

Do you know any other method to filter the Unread emails in Gmail?
