Wordpress can be used to create a Photo blog with a true tested plugin called PhotoQ. This plugin works great converting your blog to a Photo Blog. The installation is like usual Wordpress Plugin.
You need to make the setting right to work according to your need. The main setting is the size of the thumbnail to be created.
I created some widgets to display thumbnails using the auto thumb plugin for creating the widget. Other feature that I have added is a custom page for pictures and Gallery. You can check out my Personal Blog, the template is customized by myself. It’s originally the Revolution Theme and some from Woothemes Papercut.
