Reached India yesterday for a small vacation. There are lots of changes, most of my friends sounds worried about the latest recessions and layoffs. Many have been served notices, some and expecting soon. Most of the highly paid salaried class in the private sectors have taken loans to buy cars, home, etc. They have to pay their EMI’s and they have commitments according to the income or salary. If they lose their job, its impossible to get a job with high salaries due to the current recession. Business community also looks to be effected badly. Last month there were only 12 new car registration done in Bangalore, can’t believe.

My thoughts are this is something which everyone will have to face and we need to be prepared. Cut down your expense and get prepared for a bad time. Don’t go for any new commitments and try to get rid of the existing commitments as far as possible. Its not just in India, but its all around the world, even in the Middle East. Last week when I was talking to my sister who works in Dubai told me that she is expecting a contract termination letter anytime, her boss is already told to go.

After long time I was in Kerala with my family during Onam. Onam is the biggest festival for Keralites and everybody celebrates Onam in their own way these days. We were at our Aunt’s place called Ochira where we get sea food like crab and lobsters

Bandos Island Resort is one of the Oldest Resorts in Maldives. I have been here many times. Oldest resort does not mean that everything is old here, in fact this resort was renovated after the tsunami. I am going to Kudabandos, a picnic Island owned by Bandos which they open to the public on public holidays and weekeds. Today is a holiday and we all the staff from AMDC are here for a picnic at Kudabandos. Will post some videos of Kudabandos tomorrow.
