If you want to export the filters from your one Gmail Account and then you can import to other Gmail account, you can do that by enabling this feature under the Lab tab inside your Gmail setting.

Google Shared Stuff, the social bookmarking service that has never been officially launched, will no longer be available after the end of March.

Solution

"You can also create a public Google Site if you want to share websites and links with friends."
Why would you create a website when there are many services that let you share web pages? Google could also discontinue Google Bookmarks and then suggest to add your favorite web pages to a Gmail draft.

Google has apologised for a glitch that caused Gmail inaccessible to more than 110 million users across the world on Tuesday. This is the second time such technical problem is affecting the search engine. First one was occurred in the late January, which was a human error which prevented Google users from finding webpage on the internet. Later, the problem was solved and accessibility was restored.

Saw a news on BBC stating that Gmail is down, but I was able to access without any problem. Seems that its not fully down, but in some part of the world. There are 113 million Gmail Users.

The problem related to duplicate URL’s with regard to search engines has been sorted out. Mattcutts has posted on his blog about this new feature which is valid for most of the top search engines like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft will be validating this tag. You have to use this tag inside the tag of your website or blog. For example if you check the source of the page, you will find the canonical tag like this

Google’s Browser, which is becoming popular will have feature called extensions, like we have for firefox by May 2009.

"Learn how Google Chrome makes it easy to write extensions using the web technologies you already know. This talk will cover the basics of the extension system (distribution/packaging, installation, updates), as well as the different APIs to enhance with the browser."

I have been using Google Chrome since it was launched, but I could not leave Firefox for many reasons. I use many addons which is available only on Firefox and I am sure, you also would have felt the same, but its nice to hear that Google is going to have the extension feature for Google Chrome
