Today I logged into my blog dashboard, got to notice that I have done 1000 posts on my blog. I started this blog with a different domain name (KishoreAsokan.Com) which I had registered about 9 years back. 3 months back I registered this domain and transferred my blog to this domain. I had been writing very irregularly for the past few years mostly on my daily experience related to Technology, My Travel, India and Maldives, mobile phones, Wordpress, etc.

Akismet has done a great job, catching 15,981 spam comments. Can’t imagine how my blog would have been if there was no akismet.

Wordpress has changed a lot from the time have been using this great tool. I thank the Wordpress team for their regular updates, thanking the plugin authors. I have written a few plugins during this time. In fact I developed these for my use and thought of sharing with others.

Today I intalled an excellent iPhone application, Radio. You can listen to about 40 channels, all excellent audio quality. You need to have wifi connection or 3G. I tried on edge but did not work for me. You can download this application from the Apple app store for $2.99 which is worth.

Its legal in the United states and there are a good number of couples in this relation. In India, yes its legal according to a ruling by the Supreme court of India.I am not sure about other countries, I am sure it will be illegal in many countries, but I not going into the countries where its legal and illegal.

• In live in relation, the relation is not as strong as a married relation, so the chances of separation are higher than a married life
• Children could be more effected in case of live in relation because the chances of separation is more in Cohabitation.
• As this relation is not much accepted in the society, the support from the society or even from the parents are relatives may not be the same in the case of marriage.
• Financial co-operation or commitments will be less in live in relation, the reason could be the trust or security is less in this relation

Pros of Live In Relation

• Less commitment or responsibility
• Can decide to get married after a period of cohabitation. If the live in relation works well, then they have the option to go for a marriage
• Will have financial Independence, like mostly we see that couples in live in relation will have personal investment or savings and partnership investment. If the relation is broken, the partners especially the female partner will not be in a dumped situation as she will have her own savings or investments. In the case of marriage we will find, most of the couples have a joint account or mostly everything in the name of the husband.

Its very important that you use rel=nofollow tag for text links and advertisements to avoid getting penalized by major search engines like Google by demoting the Pagerank. I would advice to enable rel=nofollow if you care about search engine penalties.

I was looking for a tool to blog pages that I like using window live writer. There is a firefox addon which can be used to blog the page. All you need is  is select the text that you would like to add to the post like you see in the picture posted. The title of the post will be the title of the selected web page.
