Bus service between Hulhumale’  and Hulhule, the Airport Island has started from 27th October 2008. Initially there will be hourly trips. This service is handled by the Maldives Airport Company . At present this service will be provided only provided to airport staff residing in Hulhumale and passengers from Hulhumale’ travelling to airport.

Right now two buses are operating and its a free service, but later from December, they will be charging MRF 15 for a trip and it takes about 15 minutes for the trip.

Got some pictures for the duty free shops in the Male’ International Airport. Maldives is a tourist country and there are millions of tourist using this airport. This airport is of high standards and maintained well by the MACL, Maldives Airports Company Limited
