Raw banana is used in our regular Kerala kitchen for different dishes like aviyal, thoran, koottucurry, kaalan, etc., what we do here is cooking raw banana in water and slightly frying it in little oil. It is one of the recipes for the bachelors or the busy office goers. It is a dry side dish and ideal for rice as well as roti.
