Truck bomb in Afghanistan kills 25, many of them children

A powerful truck bomb killed at least 25 people today, more than half of them schoolchildren, in a province just south of Kabul. Authorities speculated that the explosives-laden vehicle might have been intended for use in an attack in the capital.
