South Park is apparently calling for the end of the world’s Susan Boyle obsession: in the latest episode of the irreverent cartoon, Ike is said to have run away from home to escape the never-ending chatter about the Scottish YouTube star (video below). For those who are equally tired of the media’s heavy rotation of the literally priceless Susan Boyle clip – which led to satellite and telephone interviews on CBS’s Early Show , Good Morning America , NBC’s Today , FOX’s America’s Newsroom and CNN’s Larry King Live , plus comedy sketches on Jay Leno , Jimmy Fallon and many more – South Park’s malaise might be a welcome sign that this phenomenon is heading towards the end of its cycle.

Susan Boyle is an incredibly talented lady who’s been subjected to considerable ridicule in the media. IMHO she deserves all of the success that she is experiencing.
