MUKESH RANJAN New Delhi June 23: The grand ambitions of former RJD supremo and former Union minister Lalu Prasad Yadav to set up diesel and electric locomotive factories in Bihar is set be dashed as the railway ministry is exploring the possibility of relocating the two projects worth nearly Rs 3,500 crores to West Bengal, the home state of new railway minister Mamata Banerjee. Mr Yadav, in his bid to enhance his political fortunes in his home state, had announced setting up a diesel locomotive factory in Chapra (Saran) and an electric one in Madhepura, the two parliamentary constituencies from where he won the elections in 2004. Soon after taking charge of the ministry, Ms Banerjee is understood to have asked the railway board officials to review all the pending projects under the ministry including the two Bihar projects, which were announced just before the Lok Sabha elections
