Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday discussed security issues and progress of development projects with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar. Chidambaram, who arrived in Srinagar on Thursday morning on a two-day visit to the state, will make an on-the-spot assessment of security situation in the state.
