DRP has launched the parliamentary election campaign. The Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP) held a joint ceremony with opposition party, People’s Alliance (PA), at the Artificial Beach, where ex-president and DRP leader Maumoon Abdul Gayoom told hundreds of supporters he was confident that both parties would secure a majority in the elections on 9 May.
