Maldives Run Off Elections Preponed

image The run off elections in Maldives has been changed to October 28th from October 29th as the O Level examinations are to be held on 29th. The schools are used for the elections so it will be difficult to organize the election when the exams are going on.

The Election Commission informed that the runoff presidential elections will be held on the Tuesday 28 October 2008 from 9am and 8pm.
