Tomorrow, the citizens in Maldives go to the polling both to cast their votes to decide the President of Maldives. This is the first ever multi party election in the history of Maldives. There are 6 candidates contesting for the Presidential Election.
There are external observers from different countries to make sure the elections are free are fair. The citizens of Maldives can cast their vote at the centre where they have registered. The polling will be held between 9.am and 8pm. Hopefully the counting will be begin the next day and results should be out with 48 hours after the elections are held.
