I’m planning a trip to Maldives – I know liquor is only allowed at resorts, however, liquor at my resort seems very overpriced. When my
flight lands in Male, can I purchase liquor from a duty free shop to take to my resort?
Teresa, You cannot buy liquor, from Duty free shop when you come out. You are not allowed

You need to get a letter from your employer and submit the application to the Trade ministry with a passport size photograph. You will get the permit same day. You need to go to the Airport island to buy the stuff.
