Kerala Sarees

Kerala sarees are worn normally  in occasions like Onam, Vishu and for visiting temples. It is usually available in sandal wood colour. Earlier women preferred to wear the two piece set called mundu and Neriyathu but now it is replaced by the 6 yards long and 48” wide sarees. These classic sarees are woven in Balaramapuram, a small village south of Trivandrum. Now, Kerala sarees are available at Karalkada also.
