I am working in a Private Limited Company in the Maldives and I am responsible for doing the recruitment for our company. The biggest task for me is to get good candidates. There are many recruitment companies who can serve candidates for us, but the problem is that they charge the candidates depending on the post and salary. I do not know the exact charges, but its around US$1000 to 2000 per candidate depending on the post.

Is there any chance for teachers there? Especially for primary schools?
In primary schools, they usually recruit teachers from abroad for English language, Mathematics, Social studies and Environmental studies (General science). It is done by the Ministry of Education’s recruited staff directly or in collaboration with the recruiting agencies. Earlier Ministry of Education recruited staff through different agencies in India but this year Ministry conducted a walk-in-interview and hopefully selected their required teachers. So if you can spend some money for traveling, better come over here and approach the Ministry of Education or Primary schools directly but the job is not guaranteed. Before planning to come, make sure that you have good command over English language and can handle the proposed subjects confidently. Sometimes they will ask you to have a teaching session with the students.
