I see no reason to praise the HC in Male’The South Indian Lady who tries to be a North Indian is a real painin the side , a moron and a snob with her gaudy outfitsOnce when i went there for some forms she handed it to me with her left hand and right hand on some dollars and eyes too .. she did not look at me nor see where she was shoving the papers – it was shoved above the slot – i had to give gallees . She has been there in that stagnant spot for so long i think she needs to be replaced with someone with PR skillsNext is the counter .. the glass is cut and the rods are vertical and documents have to be passed sideways ….Working hours are shorter than Indian Govt Offices … First n foremost they chat and gossip inside all the time … They need to work longer hours – after all they are paid from out money – they act like they are doing a big Favor to us ….The officers are mean when it comes to Indians and all charming when it comes to Goras and others ….On an end note – The damn HC looks like a fortress you cant enter inside and you just cant talk to anyone – no one ….I just hope n pray i dont have to ever go to the HC ever again .. His Excellency, Mr. D. M. Mulay,
High Commissioner of India

Greetings from Urjavaran Foundation!!!

URJAVARAN FOUNDATION, a voluntary non-profit NGO, since its genesis has played the role of a catalyst for spreading the message of Efficient Use of Energy, its Conservation and Preservation of Environment.

We are pleased to inform you that we have been appointed by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Power, New Delhi to organize exhibitions at Capital cities of India and exhibit Energy Efficient Products and Systems as well as Star Labelled products approved by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, GoI, with whom we are jointly organizing these exhibitions.

The Exhibition will generate public awareness, on the topic of Conservation of Energy, which would reduce emissions and correspondingly improve the ecological balance, which is of paramount interest not only for our two countries but also for the whole world in which we live in.

Concurrently with the exhibition, Symposiums will be held where eminent speakers from India and abroad are invited to present their papers to discuss and disseminate technical information on the relevant subjects.

Having successfully completed an event at Mumbai last year, we are now planning a massive exhibition at Chennai from 25 – 27 June, 2010 at Chennai Trade Centre and would welcome participation as well as delegation from your country to actively interact and draw the experience and the expertise from Indian Manufacturers of Energy Efficient products. An Exhibition brochure can be viewed on our website.

I would like to call upon you during my forthcoming visit to Maldives from 3rd – 6th February, 2010 (stay at Hotel Taj Exotica) to apprise you further in this matter and hence seek your appointment during any of these days at your convenience.

A line in confirmation by email will be appreciated.

Looking forward to have your response which will be of mutual interest.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Manuraj, The Police verification certificate has to be collected from the Maldives Police Service. For the same, request your employer for a letter requesting the Maldives Police Service to issue a Police Certificate. For the same, you need your original passport, work permit card, photograph with the required amount fee, and submit the same to the police headquarters in person (near the Jumhooree ground). They will issue the certificate in 3 days time
Wishing you all the best
