Twitter is one of the most popular tool used by bloggers. I have been using twitter for some time now, but I do not have much followers.
What is Twitter?
Twitter is a service which can be used to receive updates and update your status on this service. This social networking or we can say micro-blogging tool can do text based posts up to 140 characters which can tell a lot. There are many tools which can be used to receive and send updates. I have also written an Ajax based twitter plugin for WordPress which can be used to update your status, view your followers, view whom you are following and public updates. You can also see the updates on your profile page or you can even opt for device updates, i.e you can get the updates by SMS for the users that you want to.

There a tons of services and tools related to twitter, Technobuzz has listed about 100+ twitter tools which will be useful for any twitter users. You can search twitter for different topics, mark tweets as favorites, re-tweet updates and many more features. To get the maximum out of twitter, you need have good number of followers. You can use twitter to increase your blog traffic and sales
