Commenting on other blogs are one the ways to get people know about your blog. Most of the blogs has commenting feature and its very easy to submit a comment by filling up a simple comment submission form.
I see lots of comments coming to my blog which I have to either delete or mark it as a spam. They either are commenting to just to get a link to their blog or to sell something. Comments which do not add value to the discussions are regrettable and should not be encouraged. I see many web masters publishing such comments, could be because of oversight or to just increase the number of comments as the average number of comments per post adds up some value to the blog.
Before you submit a comment make sure
- Your comment adds some value to the post
- You have read others comments
- You have read the post well and understood what the author is trying to express
- Do not post more that one link on a comment or your comment may be marked as spam depending on the comment moderation setting of the blog
- Use respectable and soft language
- Don’t go off topic
- Reply to your comments if needed
- Thank commentators for appreciation
- Always fill up the comment form with your blog / website URL
- Maintain your identity
