Home is where your heart is. Away from home means endless longing for everything very much familiar.
I simply loose my heart in every morning on the very sight of trains carrying many people to and from Bangalore and other destinations. Some find happiness in finding a second home away from home but still remains that longing.
Away from home could be within the country as well as out of the country.
Why people are moving away from home?
People are staying far away from home for many reasons like:

- Personal
Moving away from home has advantages as well as disadvantages.
Advantages:
- Learning to look after ourselves
- Experience new culture, food, habits, etc.,
- Become bold enough to face tough situations
- Open new avenues for the personal as well as professional development
- Learning to interact with many and can experience a new crowd
- We will very much aware about our traditions and culture when we are away from home
Disadvantages:
- Out of sight out of heart
- Loose emotional touch with your loved ones
- No support system works
- Endless longing for everything very much familiar
- Many criticize women who are staying away from home are of loose character
Migration also a part of it. Many says they are migrating for the benefit of their kids. Expert says that India is the right place for bringing up our kids since we are still holding that such a strong tradition and custom as well as the bonding in the family between the members.
I have been staying away from my home for last 11 years out of which 10 years in Maldives and 1 year in Bangalore (India). My case was purely personal and later became professional. I decided to stay away from home after a breakup with my long time lover. When he told me we could never have a life of our own, all my dreams tumbled down and the only choice left with me was to run away from everything familiar,….. much awaited romantic mornings, familiar breeze that fondled both of us, Nescafe’ in the evenings, good night and sweet dreams,….
