Today I upgraded my blog to Wordpress 2.7 beta 3 which is something which you should try. The upgrade went very smooth. Its adviced to take a backup of your Wordpress Database and the files before you do the upgrade if your site is as production site.
There is a link named Turbo on the right corner of the admin panel. You may have been using this or if you are not using it, its worth to try. You need to install Google Gears for using this feature.

Some quick features that I liked
- Answering to a comment- You can directly answer to a post comment while you moderate from the admin panel
- Install plugins by searching from the admin panel or you can upload the zipped file of the plugin
- The user interface is excellent
- Left sidebar helps for faster navigation
- AJAX used
