Dr Hassan Saeed who was appointed as the Special advisor to the President of Maldives has resigned from the post.
In his resignation letter Dr Hassan, who has been working in the position of the Special Advisor to the President since 11 November 2008, said that in his capacity as the special advisor to the President he had worked hard to make President Nasheed’s administration a successful one. However, Dr Hassan’s resignation letter said that proper arrangements to facilitate communication between a special advisor and the president had still not been made.
