I am a freak when it comes to watches. I prefer to have more watches rather than clothes. Whenever I happened to cross a watch show room, I just can not take my eyes off the watches and Titan watches became one of my favorites.

I got my first Titan watch from Reef side (Titan dealer) in Maldives in 1998 and since then I managed to get at least one in a year. I found that the variety is more in Maldives as well as the prices are pretty cheaper over there than in India. More over, the brand new pieces will be on offer.

In between, I got a Wester as well as a Raymond Weil (both are my favorites).

My Raymond Weil, one of the Swiss luxury watches, my hubby gifted me. It was a dream come true moment for me and felt I was on the top of the world.

The recent controversial show “Sach Ka Saamna” is really getting popular which is aired on STAR TV every day from Monday to Friday at Indian time 10:30pm. Reasons could be the questions and answers, especially the personal ones. I am a regular viewer of this reality show. Celebrities and individuals who are ready to open themselves to the world, more than the world are the near ones.

There are many incidents in every persons life which cannot be shared and if shared could break relations. Its very risky to get into that seat where you are asked question which you cannot answer or your answer could put your life in trouble. This could spoil your life and relation. The questions asked are really embarrassing and could put you in real trouble, but you have the option to leave the game before the next question is asked. The polygraph test decides if you are lieing or you are accepting the truth. All the answers are just yes or no (True or false)

Many celebrities like Vinod Kambli has already finished their chances and came up with bitter truths. This show is similar to the very popular reality show “The moment of Truth” and hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal a popular film star.The format is owned by Howard Schultz of Lighthearted Entertainment.

This show has even been discussed in the parliament and many have the opinion that it should be stopped.

If you are interested, you can even participate on this show and expose yourself and get a chance of winning 1 Crore Indian Rupees, which is really a good money. You can dare for this if you have nothing hidden with your near ones.

I feel that there is nothing wrong, if a person who decides by himself to sit on that chair. None of the participants has won the full prize yet. Many reached up to the 3rd level, but lost with something which could not be accepted.

Good times, is one of my favorite channels and i do enjoy myself watching this channel especially two shows, Chakhle India and Highway on my plate. Chakhle India is very much like one of my favorite programs at amrita TV, that is Taste of Kerala. Both these programs  are bringing  the original taste of food from different corners without loosing its authenticity.

Why do I love these programs?

Chakhle India anchor’s name is Aditya Bal. He travels through different places and trying to bring out the traditional taste and the recipe is presented to the audiences in the form of a live show. Best part of the show is the recipes presented to the viewers in a very simple form. In the last show i saw him preparing a mutton dish named, Bhopali gosht korma and he made it very simple and made me feel that cooking doesn’t require much of the time. In most of the cookery show the anchor will be a help to the main chef but normally never seen an anchor is presenting  a dish to audience.

Highway on my plate, the anchormen’s names are Vicky and Mayur.  In this program, they are travelling from one pace to another across the country and introducing the important destinations to the viewers along with the variety of food available on the highways. The most important attraction is they are appraising the variety of food in front of them and giving marks to the food tasted based on the service provided as well as the food is worth for the money spend. It is quite an interesting program. Keep up the good work.

This is Kalesh, who is anchoring the taste of Kerala in amrita TV. His program is very interesting because of its distinguished difference from other cookery shows. In this show, he is travelling across the Kerala to find out the traditional as well as the unknown taste of Kerala cuisine to the viewers. Most of the time his journey to find a new taste is not so easy, may be this  journey makes us to wait for every Sunday, at 12.30 pm. Good work Kalesh, wising you all the success in your future endeavours. 

I like paratha very much and for me to make it is a big task. In Male’, the capital of Maldives, there is a shop called Fantacy where you get frozen uncooked parathas of different type, like the Onion Paratha, Methi

Cooking in low flame

I happen to watch Tare Zameen Par few months back and I really liked it. This movie is produced and directed by Amir Khan, his first movie as a director and has won many awards. Its a must see movie. I very rarely get emotional watching movies, but this one made me. The movie shows up the problem of kids who are made to go the parents way. I feel that every parent should see this movie as we can learn some facts and hear some voice of the kids who are in real trouble because of their parents. I am not going tell about the story of this movie, you need to watch it. I saw it today the second time, so I thought of recommending it to my readers.

Amir and the kid who is doing the lead role had done a great job and its so natural. Hats off Amir, you have come up with a movie which really has some very important messages
