Last night dinner was at Bombay post, a restaurant in Bangalore, my first visit there, though I have been to Bangalore many times. We we there around 8:30 pm and it was very crowded, no seats available, we went to the reception, the receptionist noted our name and told that we need to wait for 25 minutes. We decided to wait. Then we realized that there were another few people ahead of us waiting to get a seat.
The darban at Bombay Post restaurant Bangalore
After about half an hour, the security person called us and we were offered a table. The atmosphere was something different, old Hindi songs playing, posters and pictures of old hind superstars, totally a Mumbai atmosphere. Waiters dressed in Maharashtrian dresses, a pan stall also seen.
We ordered some beer, Prawns, Lobster, crab was in the menu, but not available. Mostly we seen employees of Multinational companies, Team parties going on there.
Beer,
Lobsters a plate cost around 900 INR
Bit costly but worth, good and fast service, they showed us the prawns and lobster before preparing it.
A must visit place if you are going to Bangalore
